This week’s #MusicMonday song is Choke by King Charles.
The vibes of this song are perfect for summer. Choke has one of the prettiest opening guitar riffs that I’ve heard lately. Charles’ smooth, easy-going voice takes over the track. Choke is an easy song to listen to. It can go in either direction. If you listen to the song on a sub-level, the vibes it puts off are light closer to a West Coast band’s vibes. If you listen on a deeper level, you can better take in the richness of the song paired with the lyrics which will have you “in your feelings.”
I can’t say enough about the richness of the guitars paired with the lyrics of this song. I expect London-born King Charles takeover of the U.S. music scene to happen shortly. Listen below and make your own opinion.
